It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our first production sale. We feel our cowherd has gotten to a quality standpoint that we are very confident in, and we are excited to offer the most elite we’ve ever had the opportunity to have grazing our pastures.
They carry multiple generations of the CSC prefix, a culmination of cattle studied hard and worked for. We have rigidly culled along the way, and in doing so created an exceptional set of mother cows that are very fertile, low maintenance, easy fleshing cattle. They are also cows that have correct udders with cream and milk flow to wean a stout, bloomy calf, and look good while doing it. We don’t take breeding decisions lightly. We travel, we study, and strategically use bulls we feel will compliment our herd and goals; to build a stronger female capable of producing herd bulls and matriarchs consistently. Females that go on to be high income producing, profitable investments for their new owners. And in turn work for us all.
This set of cattle is extremely high quality throughout, and are listed in age order.
All cattle are DNA parent verified, free of all known genetic defects, and possess AHA GE-EPDs. We are retaining half interest in 301 and 308, with the high bidder having the option to double the bid price and own full interest. Possession of the half interest will be negotiable, with show rights fully available. On all females selling we retain the right to 2 flushes, with a minimum of 10 eggs total, at our expense and the new owners convenience. 901’s terms are detailed in his footnotes. Bolder is a true Herd Bull!
He produces masculine, big testicled, sound, soggy, big assed sons; and his daughters are feminine, well balanced females that possess square, level hips with extra fleshing ability that allows them to maintain during the most extreme conditions. We very confidently ran 901 for 2 years on cows and heifers, after he spent 2 years at stud. We feel like he deserves to see more cows and country, with over half the herd carrying his genetics it’s time for him to see more natural service in new pastures. He will be greatly missed but we will continue to use him heavily AI.
