CSC 008 is writing her own book and is soon to be a well known author. She’s as good looking as you can make one, all while being extremely sound structured with an ideal udder and excellent feet. She’s the epitome of Brood Cow that raises a good one every time and looks great doing it. Combining her with the power and performance of 1056J has worked very well. We were picturing at Holden’s when 1056J walked into the pen and he stopped us in our tracks, Cody and I looked at each other and we knew we’d be using him. He has all the best of our favorite L1 and Polled cow families combined, looks good on paper, and is striking in person. We’ve crossed 1056J on several of our cow families and it’s a Hit every time!

When we first saw 1056J while clipping and picturing bulls at Holden’s we knew we needed to use him in our program. He’s a very upstanding, eye catching bull that is a rugged, wide bodied, sound BEEF Bull! Plus he’s backed by a pedigree packed with maternal performance. After many years at NJW, and having always loved their program, we know the power of the Daydream and Rita lineage, we also have always taken notice of the exceptional offspring of the HH 5031C line over the years clipping for Holden. He’s produced a phenomenal set of heifers and bulls for us over the years.
